Stala IF

Stala IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Stala IF, 152 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof Stala IF could be found in Group 26 together with GAIS 2, Strömsbro IF Orange and Live your world cup. Stala IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Märsta IK with 1-4. In the Final, Kortedala IF won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Stala comes from Varekil which lies approximately 45 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Varekil does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Ytterby IS, Stenungsunds IF, Ale United, Kungshamns IF, Vallens IF, Skoftebyns IF, Kärra KIF, IK Kongahälla and Hermansby IF).
