IFK Knislinge

IFK Knislinge was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to IFK Knislinge, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof IFK Knislinge could be found in Group 12 together with Melleruds IF, Maryland United FC and Sandsbro AIK 1. IFK Knislinge continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Mjällby AIF with 0-7. In the Final, Portobello CFA Thistle won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. IFK Knislinge comes from Knislinge which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Knislinge does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (IFK Hässleholm, Sölvesborgs GIF/Lörby IF, IFK Osby, Olofströms IF/Jämshögs IF, Vittsjö GIK, Broby IF, Åhus IF, Kristianstads DFF and Vinslövs IF).
