Frösö IF

Frösö IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Frösö IF, 82 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Frösö IF could be found in Group 11 together with Näsets SK, Euro Sports Brasil and Skogsbygdens IF. Frösö IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna with 0-5. In the Final, Arna-Bjørnar won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Frösö comes from Frösön which lies approximately 620 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
