Dalby GIF

Dalby GIF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Dalby GIF, 66 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Dalby GIF could be found in Group 4 together with Jönköpings Södra IF, Scandia United SA and Re Fotballklubb. Dalby GIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Nærbø IL with 0-1. In the Final, Täby FK won over Skellefteå FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Dalby GIF comes from Dalby which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dalby does also provide 37 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Trollenäs IF, Hörby FF, FIFH, Furulunds IK, Linero IF, Oxie SK, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, Uppåkra IF, Dösjöbro IF and IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo).
