Limmareds IF

Limmareds IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Limmareds IF, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Limmareds IF could be found in Group 25 together with Sunderby SK, Vaksala SK and Lillestrøm SK. Limmareds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hörby FF with 2-4. In the Final, Nässjö FF won over Lyn Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Limmareds comes from Limmared which lies approximately 88 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Limmared does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Byttorps IF, Norrby IF, Rydboholms SK, Gislaveds IS and IF Elfsborg).
