Torshälla-Nyby IS

Torshälla-Nyby IS was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Torshälla-Nyby IS, 150 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Torshälla-Nyby IS could be found in Group 16 together with Game Sport Ragusa, IFK Valla and Phoenix Football Academy. Torshälla-Nyby IS continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ytterby IS Röd with 0-7. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 3 won over Lerums IS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Torshälla-Nyby IS comes from Torshälla which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Torshälla does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: AFC Eskilstuna, Västerås IK, Eskilstuna United DFF, IFK Eskilstuna, BK Sport, Norrby IK, IK Franke, Gideonsbergs IF, IFK Västerås FK and Skiljebo SK).
