Viggbyholms IK FF

Viggbyholms IK FF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Viggbyholms IK FF, 33 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Viggbyholms IK FF could be found in Group 1 together with VGA Saint Maur Feminin 2, Onsala BK, Avaldsnes IL and IFK Göteborg. Viggbyholms IK FF made it to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Sundsvalls DFF with 0-3. Thereby Viggbyholms IK FF finished second in G18 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2022. Viggbyholms comes from Täby which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Täby does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Maj FC, EKF Täby, Sickla IF, FC Djursholm, Tyresö FF, Enskede IK, Djurgårdens IF, Värmdö IF, Skogås/Trångsunds FF and Hanvikens SK).
