Höörs IS

Höörs IS was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Höörs IS, 82 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Höörs IS could be found in Group 7 together with Horsforth St. Margarets Academy, Hertzöga BK and San Francisco Seals. Höörs IS continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Timrå with 0-1. In the Final, Vikingur won over IFK Kalmar and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Höörs IS comes from Höör which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Höör does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Trollenäs IF, IFK Hässleholm, Hörby FF, Furulunds IK, Linero IF, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, Dösjöbro IF, Dalby GIF, Lunds FF and Torns IF).
