Fortuna FF

Fortuna FF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Fortuna FF, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Fortuna FF could be found in Group 26 together with Kullavik IF, IFK Borgholm and KFV Segeberg. Fortuna FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Nässjö FF with 0-2. In the Final, Nässjö FF won over Lyn Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Fortuna comes from Rydebäck which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Rydebäck does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Trollenäs IF, Furulunds IK, Munka-Ljungby IF, Ängelholms FF, Dösjöbro IF, Allerums GIF, Helsingborg City FC, Hittarps IK, Brunnby FF and Jonstorp IF).
