Stensätra IF

Stensätra IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Stensätra IF, 84 other teams from 20 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Stensätra IF could be found in Group 20 together with Kungsbacka IF, FK Poprad and FC New England. Stensätra IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against BK Sport 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Groß Flottbek won over Altona 93 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Stensätra comes from SANDVIKEN which lies approximately 430 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around SANDVIKEN does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Sandvikens IF, Gefle IF, Hille IF, Strömsbro IF, Högbo AIK and Valbo FF).
