Portobello Community FC

Portobello Community FC was one of two clubs from Scotland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Portobello Community FC, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Portobello Community FC could be found in Group 42 together with TSV Altenholz 2, Eneby BK and BK Häcken. Portobello Community FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 42. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lunds BK 1 with 5-6. In the Final, Maj FC won over Kärra Dragons and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Portobello Community FC comes from Ed which lies approximately 920 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Portobello Community FC, the club Portobello CFA Thistle does also originate from the area around Ed.
