IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo

IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo, 40 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo could be found in Group 9 together with Älvsborg FF Blå, SK Sprint-Jeløy 2 and KFV Segeberg. IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Vallens IF with 0-4. In the Final, Boo FF won over FC Hawaii and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. Limhamn/Bunkeflo comes from Bunkeflostrand which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bunkeflostrand does also provide 35 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: FIFH, Furulunds IK, Linero IF, Oxie SK, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, Uppåkra IF, Dösjöbro IF, Lilla Torg FF, Dalby GIF and Limhamns FF).
