Ösmo GIF FK

Ösmo GIF FK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Ösmo GIF FK, 82 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Ösmo GIF FK could be found in Group 5 together with FC KR/Grotta, Malmslätts AIK and Walddörfer SV. Ösmo GIF FK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Skellefteå FF with 0-2. In the Final, Vikingur won over IFK Kalmar and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Ösmo GIF FK comes from Ösmo which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ösmo does also provide 29 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Sickla IF, Tyresö FF, Pershagens SK, Enskede IK, Skogås/Trångsunds FF, Hanvikens SK, IFK Aspudden-Tellus, Stureby FF, Stureby SK and Örby IS).
