IFK Tidaholm/Ekedalens SK

IFK Tidaholm/Ekedalens SK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IFK Tidaholm/Ekedalens SK, 166 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof IFK Tidaholm/Ekedalens SK could be found in Group 5 together with Limhamn FC 2, Lillestrøm SK 3 and The Tactical Specialists FC. IFK Tidaholm/Ekedalens SK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Strømmen IF with 0-3. In the Final, Vikingur 1 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IFK Tidaholm/Ekedalens SK comes from Tidaholm which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tidaholm does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Kinnarp-Slutarps IF, Falköpings KIK, Ulvåkers IF, Habo IF, Skövde AIK, IFK Skövde FK, Skövde Kvinnliga IK, IFK Falköping FF, Våmbs IF and Grolanda IF/Floby IF/Åsarp-Trädet FK).
