Hedens IF

Hedens IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Hedens IF, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Hedens IF could be found in Group 3 together with Club Caref, Breidablik 2 and Högbo AIK. Hedens IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Cefor Tuzos Cancun with 0-2. In the Final, Maj FC won over Kärra Dragons and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Hedens comes from Boden which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Boden does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Alviks IK, IFK Luleå, Lira BK and Sunderby SK).
