Sunnanå SK

Sunnanå SK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Sunnanå SK, 66 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Sunnanå SK could be found in Group 14 together with Jitex BK, Breidablik 1 and KFV Segeberg. Sunnanå SK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK 1 with 0-3. In the Final, Streetball FC won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Sunnanå SK comes from Skellefteå which lies approximately 910 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skellefteå does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Skellefteå FF, Rönnskär Railcare IF and Rönnskär Railcare IF / Clemensnäs IF).
