Hermansby IF

Hermansby IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Hermansby IF, 150 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Hermansby IF could be found in Group 12 together with Chadwick International, Munka-Ljungby IF and Beirut Football Academy. Hermansby IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IK Kongahälla with 0-1. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over AS Meudon and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Hermansby comes from kärna which lies approximately 22 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around kärna does also provide 62 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Ytterby IS, Qviding FIF, Askims IK, Stenkullen GoIK, Jonsereds IF, Sandarna BK, IK Zenith, Grunden Bois and Utbynäs SK).
