Stugsunds IK

Stugsunds IK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Stugsunds IK, 166 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Stugsunds IK could be found in Group 24 together with Backatorp IF 1, ED Moratalaz, Cefor San Luis and Hovsta IF. Stugsunds IK continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Lekstorps IF with 1-3. In the Final, Norrby IF won over Furulunds IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Stugsunds comes from SÖDERHAMN which lies approximately 490 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around SÖDERHAMN does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Norrala IF and Trönö IK/Rengsjö SK).
