Listerby IK/Hoby GIF

Listerby IK/Hoby GIF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Listerby IK/Hoby GIF, 40 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Listerby IK/Hoby GIF could be found in Group 7 together with Kungsladugårds BK, Kungshamn/Smögens IF, NCE Soccer and FH. Listerby IK/Hoby GIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against ATSV Scharmbeckstotel with 0-3. In the Final, Lerums IS won over ATSV Scharmbeckstotel and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Listerby IK/Hoby GIF comes from BRÄKNE-HOBY which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around BRÄKNE-HOBY does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (FK Karlskrona, Olofströms IF/Jämshögs IF, Hoby GIF, Ronneby BK, Mjällby AIF, FK Karlskrona/Rödeby AIF and Sjöstaden Karlskrona).
