Vimmerby IF

Vimmerby IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Vimmerby IF, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Vimmerby IF could be found in Group 24 together with Prep Schools District White, Stångebro United 1 and Angered MBIK. Vimmerby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Mjölby AI/FF 1 with 1-2. In the Final, Portobello CFA Thistle won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Vimmerby comes from Vimmerby which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
