Lunds BoiS/Torns IF

Lunds BoiS/Torns IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, 166 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Lunds BoiS/Torns IF could be found in Group 17 together with SK Gjøvik-Lyn, Åsa IF and Breidablik 1. Lunds BoiS/Torns IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Vallentuna BK 3 with 1-2. In the Final, Norrby IF won over Furulunds IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Lunds BoiS/Torns comes from Lund which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 38 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Trollenäs IF, Hörby FF, FIFH, Furulunds IK, Linero IF, Oxie SK, Uppåkra IF, Dösjöbro IF, IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo and Lilla Torg FF).
