Danmarks IF

Danmarks IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Danmarks IF, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Danmarks IF could be found in Group 7 together with U. de Chile, Emmaboda IS and Njurunda IK. Danmarks IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Re Fotballklubb with 0-3. In the Final, Nässjö FF won over Lyn Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Danmarks comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Hisingsbacka FC, Vaksala SK, Bälinge IF, Storvreta IK, Gamla Upsala SK, IF VP Uppsala, Märsta IK, IK Sirius FK, Rimbo IF and Dalkurd FF).
