Byttorps IF

Byttorps IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Byttorps IF, 166 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Byttorps IF could be found in Group 9 together with FC KR 1, Re Fotballklubb 1 and Saltsjöbadens IF. Byttorps IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against The Tactical Specialists FC with 0-3. In the Final, Norrby IF won over Furulunds IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Byttorps comes from Borås which lies approximately 57 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borås does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Stenkullen GoIK, IFK Örby, Limmareds IF, Kinna IF, Norrby IF, Hestrafors IF, Gerdskens BK, Holmalunds IF, Rydboholms SK and Skogsbygdens IF).
