Jonsereds IF

Jonsereds IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Jonsereds IF, 152 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof Jonsereds IF could be found in Group 12 together with Southampton Town United, FC Teutonia 05 and IF Brommapojkarna 4. Jonsereds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Brinkumer SV with 6-7. In the Final, Kortedala IF won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Jonsereds comes from Partille which lies approximately 12 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Partille does also provide 69 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Ytterby IS, Qviding FIF, Askims IK, Stenkullen GoIK, Sandarna BK, IK Zenith, Grunden Bois, Utbynäs SK and Azalea BK/Mossens BK).
