OC Surf North

OC Surf North was one of 31 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to OC Surf North, 82 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof OC Surf North could be found in Group 10 together with HGH Halmstad, Lunds FF and IFK Timrå. OC Surf North continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK with 1-2. In the Final, Arna-Bjørnar won over Lillestrøm SK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. OC Surf North comes from Los Angeles which lies approximately 8800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than OC Surf North, the club LA United does also originate from the area around Los Angeles.
