Oskarshamns AIK

Oskarshamns AIK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Oskarshamns AIK, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Oskarshamns AIK could be found in Group 48 together with Lycée International St Germain en Laye, Västra Karups IF and Kullavik IF. Oskarshamns AIK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 48. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against MTV Gifhorn with 0-4. In the Final, Maj FC won over Kärra Dragons and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Oskarshamns AIK comes from Oskarshamn which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oskarshamn does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Högsby IK and Mönsterås GoIF).
