MTV Gifhorn

MTV Gifhorn was one of 41 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to MTV Gifhorn, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof MTV Gifhorn could be found in Group 45 together with Fana Fotball 2, Nykvarns SK 1 and Spånga IS FK. MTV Gifhorn continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 45. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against E.C. Pinheiros White with 0-1. In the Final, Maj FC won over Kärra Dragons and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Gifhorn comes from Gifhorn which lies approximately 560 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
