Glios Football Academy

Glios Football Academy was one of two clubs from Nigeria that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Glios Football Academy, 134 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Glios Football Academy could be found in Group 22 together with Alingsås IF, Frankfort FC and AFC Eskilstuna. Glios Football Academy comes from Kaduna Nigeria which lies approximately 3 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kaduna Nigeria does also provide 80 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, FC West, Eriksbergs IF, Donsö IS, IK Kongahälla, Ösets BK, Guldhedens IK, Öckerö IF, Södra Skärgården IK and Kärra Dragons).
