IK Kongahälla

IK Kongahälla was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to IK Kongahälla, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof IK Kongahälla could be found in Group 1 together with Aalborg Chang, Sölvesborgs GIF and IFK Eskilstuna 1. IK Kongahälla continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Boo FF with 1-4. In the Final, Stjarnan 1 won over IFK Haninge and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Kongahälla comes from Kungälv which lies approximately 14 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungälv does also provide 83 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, FC West, Eriksbergs IF, Donsö IS, Ösets BK, Guldhedens IK, Öckerö IF, Södra Skärgården IK, Kärra Dragons and Stenkullen GoIK).
