Gävle GIK/FK

Gävle GIK/FK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Gävle GIK/FK, 154 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof Gävle GIK/FK could be found in Group 35 together with SK Sprint-Jeløy 2, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris White and Hovås-Billdal IF 2. Gävle GIK/FK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK 2 with 7-8. In the Final, BK Häcken 1 won over Russell Martin Academy and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Gävle GIK/FK comes from Gävle which lies approximately 440 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gävle does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Hille IF, Hagaströms SK, Tierps IF, Valbo FF, Sandvikens IF, Sandvikens AIK and Högbo AIK).
