AS Academy

AS Academy was one of 14 clubs from Brazil that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to AS Academy, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof AS Academy could be found in Group 23 together with Rahlstedter, SC 1, Friska Viljor FC and Essinge IK. AS Academy continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Kharis Sports Academy with 0-2. In the Final, Kharis Sports Academy won over Greengen FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. AS Academy comes from Contagem which lies approximately 10000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
