Desert Rangers Dubai

Desert Rangers Dubai was one of 8 clubs from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Desert Rangers Dubai, 162 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Desert Rangers Dubai could be found in Group 31 together with GKS Kowale 2, Southern Beach FC and FC Boo. Desert Rangers Dubai continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against BK Häcken 2 with 1-2. In the Final, LAZ Stockerau won over Jönköpings Södra IF Grön and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Desert Rangers Dubai comes from Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dubai does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Alliance FC, Precor FC Dubai, Sport 4 All, Go-Pro Sports and Al Wasl Club).
