BK Olympic

BK Olympic was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to BK Olympic, 171 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof BK Olympic could be found in Group 10 together with Scandia United SA DK, SKF Belgium, IFK Falköping FF 1 and Stord Fotball. BK Olympic continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against GIF Sundsvall with 0-2. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over SKF Latvia and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Olympic comes from Malmö which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Dalby GIF, Staffanstorps United, Kulladals FF, Svedala IF, FC Staffanstorp, IF Lödde, Eslövs BK, Lunds BK, LB07 and Lindeborgs FF 1948).
