IFK Berga

IFK Berga was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to IFK Berga, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof IFK Berga could be found in Group 11 together with Helena Romanes School, Qviding FIF, Gwinnett SA 2 and CUSB. IFK Berga continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Sävedalens IF with 1-3. In the Final, Sävedalens IF won over Tidaholms GIF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. IFK Berga comes from Kalmar which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kalmar does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Hossmo BK, Glömminge/Algutsrum IF, IFK Kalmar, Färjestadens GoIF, Torsås GoIF, Lindsdals IF, Nybro IF and Kalmar FF).
