Woking FC

Woking FC was one of 32 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Woking FC, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Woking FC could be found in Group 30 together with Magnet Youth Sports Academy, Ersmarks IK/IFK Umeå and Torslanda IK. Woking FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against DJK Arminia Eilendorf with 5-6. In the Final, DJK Arminia Eilendorf won over Helium FA and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Woking FC comes from Southampton which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Southampton does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Winchester College and Elite Football FC).
