Årjäng IF

Årjäng IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Årjäng IF, 26 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Årjäng IF could be found in Group 4 together with Jönköpings Södra IF, FC Djursholm, BK Häcken and JSSL Singapore. Årjäng IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Djurgårdens IF with 1-3. In the Final, Djurgårdens IF won over Kälvesta IoF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. Årjäng comes from Årjäng which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
