DKI Jakarta

DKI Jakarta was one of four clubs from Indonesia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to DKI Jakarta, 162 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof DKI Jakarta could be found in Group 25 together with Holmalunds IF, Mahlsdorf-Waldesruh, B-W and V. Ingelstad IS. DKI Jakarta continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against JSSL Singapore with 2-3. In the Final, Ordin FC won over FC Saint Cloud and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. DKI Jakarta comes from Jakarta which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Jakarta does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Jakarta Dragons and Special Olympics Indonesia).
