IFK Västerås FK

IFK Västerås FK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IFK Västerås FK, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof IFK Västerås FK could be found in Group 11 together with Linghem SK/Tallboda IF, ATSV Scharmbeckstotel, Eriksbergs IF and United FC. IFK Västerås FK continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against TuS Schwachhausen with 1-2. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Ope IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. IFK Västerås FK comes from Västerås which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
