Kharis Sports Academy

Kharis Sports Academy was one of five clubs from Ghana that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Kharis Sports Academy, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Kharis Sports Academy could be found in Group 24 together with Strindheim IL, Rahlstedter, SC 2, IFK Östersund and Sleipner, IK. Kharis Sports Academy made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 24. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Greengen FC, which they won with 1-0. Thereby Kharis Sports Academy won the entire Play off A in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2019. Kharis Sports Academy comes from KUMASI which lies approximately 5800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
