IFK Skoghall

IFK Skoghall was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to IFK Skoghall, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof IFK Skoghall could be found in Group 9 together with Kragerø IF, Umeå IK FF and Minnesota Thunder Academy. IFK Skoghall continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Nordhordland BK with 0-1. In the Final, Jitex Mölndal BK won over Triangelns IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. IFK Skoghall comes from Hammarö which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hammarö does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Hertzöga BK, IFK Ölme, Karlstad BK, Idrottsklubben Carlstad, Norrstrands IF, FBK Karlstad and IFK Kristinehamn).
