Sotra Sportsklubb

Sotra Sportsklubb was one of 61 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Sotra Sportsklubb, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Sotra Sportsklubb could be found in Group 12 together with Hovås-Billdal IF, FC USA International and Fanna BK. Sotra Sportsklubb continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Gimse IL with 2-5. In the Final, Jitex Mölndal BK won over Triangelns IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Sotra comes from Bergen which lies approximately 490 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bergen does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Nest-Sotra, Fyllingsdalen FK, Arna-Bjørnar and Nordhordland BK).
