Football Experience

Football Experience was one of 11 clubs from South Africa that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Football Experience, 162 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Football Experience could be found in Group 17 together with IFK Aspudden-Tellus, Prep Schools Lions Green and Kärra Dragons. Football Experience continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Regents Park FC 2 with 1-3. In the Final, LAZ Stockerau won over Jönköpings Södra IF Grön and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Football Experience comes from Johannesburg which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Johannesburg does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (University of Pretoria FC and University of Pretoria).
