HGH Halmstad

HGH Halmstad was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to HGH Halmstad, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof HGH Halmstad could be found in Group 14 together with Piteå IF 2, Norrala IF and Alexandria Sporting Club. HGH Halmstad continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against OGC Nice with 0-1. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over Boo FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. HGH Halmstad comes from Harplinge which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Harplinge does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Skrea IF, BK Astrio, Västra Karups iF, Bjäre United, Halmstads BK, IF Böljan, Hasslövs IS/Skottorp, IS Halmia and Falkenbergs FF).
