FC Hennef 05

FC Hennef 05 was one of 56 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to FC Hennef 05, 154 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof FC Hennef 05 could be found in Group 11 together with IF Brommapojkarna 3, Tai Tam Tigers and Hjuviks AIK. FC Hennef 05 continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Nordsterne JSG Rot Weiß Kickers Frisia Emden with 2-3. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over IF Brommapojkarna 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. FC Hennef 05 comes from Wolfsburg which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than FC Hennef 05, the club VfL Pinneberg does also originate from the area around Wolfsburg.
