Ope IF

Ope IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Ope IF, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Ope IF could be found in Group 10 together with SV Eutingen, Brämhults IK and Rävåsens IK. Ope IF made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against KFV Segeberg with 0-2. Thereby Ope IF finished second in G18 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2019. Ope IF also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in G18 Play off B, but lost it against Svärtinge SK with 5-6. Ope comes from Östersund which lies approximately 620 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Östersund does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Östersunds FK, IFK Östersund and Ås IF).
