Skjetten Fotball

Skjetten Fotball was one of 61 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Skjetten Fotball, 171 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Skjetten Fotball could be found in Group 2 together with SKF Colombia, GIF Sundsvall and IFK Falköping FF 2. Skjetten Fotball continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Academy Elite with 0-1. In the Final, Phoenix Football Club won over Beirut FAC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Skjetten Fotball comes from Skjetten which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skjetten does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Nesodden IF, Lyn Fotball, Bødalen IF, KFUM - Oslo, Stabæk Fotball, Ski Fotball, Gjelleråsen IF, Lommedalens IL, Lambertseter IF and Lørenskog IF).
