Växjö DFF

Växjö DFF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). In addition to Växjö DFF, 15 other teams from 7 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Växjö DFF could be found in Group 1 together with Stabæk Fotball, FC Rosengård and Lake Norman. Växjö DFF made it to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Lake Norman, which they won with 7-6. Thereby Växjö DFF won the entire Play off B in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17) during Gothia Cup 2019. Växjö DFF comes from Växjö which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Växjö does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Sandsbro AIK and Vederslöv/Gransholm).
