Boca Juniors

Boca Juniors was one of 14 clubs from Brazil that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Boca Juniors, 154 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof Boca Juniors could be found in Group 22 together with Prep Schools Lions White, Sandviks IK and IFK Örby. Boca Juniors continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Tai Tam Tigers with 1-6. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over IF Brommapojkarna 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Boca Juniors comes from CAMPINAS which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around CAMPINAS does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Ordin FC, InterClubes, Hipica Campinas, Monte Libano, Projeto Bugrinho, Audax, E.C. Pinheiros, Pequeninos do Jockey, Avai FC and AP Brasil).
