E.C. Pinheiros

E.C. Pinheiros was one of 14 clubs from Brazil that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to E.C. Pinheiros, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof E.C. Pinheiros could be found in Group 24 together with Vallens IF, San Francisco Seals and Norrala IF 1. E.C. Pinheiros continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SC Nienstedten with 5-6. In the Final, Stjarnan 1 won over IFK Haninge and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. E.C. Pinheiros comes from São Paulo which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around São Paulo does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Ordin FC, InterClubes, Hipica Campinas, Monte Libano, Projeto Bugrinho, Audax, Pequeninos do Jockey, Avai FC, AP Brasil and Boca Juniors).
