ASD Atletico 2000

ASD Atletico 2000 was one of four clubs from Italy that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to ASD Atletico 2000, 154 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof ASD Atletico 2000 could be found in Group 8 together with Lilla Torg FF, LAZ Stockerau and Saltsjöbadens IF 1. ASD Atletico 2000 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna 1 with 0-13. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over IF Brommapojkarna 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. ASD Atletico 2000 comes from Rome which lies approximately 1800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than ASD Atletico 2000, the club SKF Italy does also originate from the area around Rome.
